From Shadows to Sunlight

Through the Eyes of Tatiana – in memory of mummy

At the tender age of three, a shadow fell on me,

The world turned cold as Mummy was set free.

Yet, in the darkest hours, from the void’s embrace,

Four stars emerged, lighting up my space.

Sean, the eldest, with shoulders broad and true,

Stepped into Mummy’s shoes, as elder siblings often do.

Guiding with wisdom through storm and strife,

He became the lighthouse, guiding my life.

Dan-dan, with strength not just in arms but heart,

Taught me resilience to make a fresh start.

His laughter, his spirit, even in pain,

Showed me the sun could follow the rain.

Alina, with grace, held me close to her side,

Whispered tales of Mummy in the night’s quiet tide.

Her songs, her stories, her gentle caress,

Filled the void, easing my distress.

Katerina, the youngest yet fiercely bold,

Wove tales of adventures, of legends untold.

With her by my side, exploring each day,

The weight of the past began to fade away.

And Daddy, our rock, amidst the surging seas,

Held us together, bending but never breaking like trees.

His love, boundless, through each test and trial,

Turned our tears into smiles, mile after mile.

From shadows to sunlight, this journey we tread,

With memories of Mummy and the love she spread.

In the embrace of family, with bonds ever tight,

We found our way from darkness to light.
